Whilst both our Seniors & Reserves were unable to bring the cups home having been beaten by 17 & 35 points respectively, it was a great effort. The Seniors were leading all day until they were run over in the last quarter and a couple of goals in junk time flattered the score line. Not a bad effort against a side who were undefeated all year. The Reserves had a great finals series and were not expected to go as far as they did considering they were 5th with 2 games to go in the season and just scraped into the finals. Great effort by both teams.

It was great to see so many past players and coaches at the game along with family & friends and the many Junior parents and kids who came along to support.

We would like to thank Seniors Coach Ian Denny, his coaching staff, Sam Young, Wayne Gough, Andrew Gough & runner, Dom Di Guglielmo, Reserves Coach Dave De Silva & his assistants Cameron Cox & Hayden Wilkinson. Special thank you to Steve Ward who was Team Manager for both sides and to the trainers, Donna Morgan, Olivia Yin & Anthony MacGibbon.

Lastly we would like to thank all 66 players who represented the club and wore the jumper proudly.

We wish them all the very best in 2017 with their promotion to Division 3.
