Congratulations to Sienna Varhelyi from our Junior Girls program who has been accepted and attended her first session of AFL Victoria – Female Coaching Academy during the week.

Sienna (Aged 15) was really inspired by the session with majority of the attendees aged between 17 & 18 years of age being exposed to the many pathways that are for females in AFL coaching.

Only 7% of coaches are female, therefore the AFL having a big focus on increasing those numbers. The club will continue provide pathway opportunities like these to all of our member to encourage the continue growth of all our members.

Well done again to Sienna, we cannot wait for you to gain more experience as an assistant coach of our Junior Girls in Season 2024❤🤍💙
